It is Crime Prevention Week next week and the OPP is highlighting the many initiatives that successfully prevent crime and victimization across the province. This year`s theme is Partners in Community Safety and Well-Being’ reflecting on how police work closely with community partners to reduce crime. The police will focus on five programs throughout the week. Some of those programs include: Amber Alert, SafeGuard Ontario, and Keeping Seniors Educated and Informed.
