After a unanimous council vote, Paul Jenkins was named to the role. Jenkins says he is pleased, and that council has a lot of work ahead of it. //www.mybancroftnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Bancroft-New-Mayor-1.mp3 Jenkins takes over for former Mayor Bernice Jenkins, who officially resigned last Thursday. Paul Jenkins served as the deputy mayor. Council voted to appoint Charles Mullett as the town’s new Deputy Mayor. After a brief closed session, council announced it would be appointing someone to the role. More information is expected to be released at Bancroft Council’s next meeting on December 12th.
