Environment Canada’s special weather statement remains in effect for the Bancroft area, as snowy weather is expected to continue.
Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says we can expect quite a bit of the white stuff today.
Kimbell says the cold weather is expected to linger-on for the foreseeable future, and more snow will definitely come with it.
Untreated roads could be snow covered and slippery as a result. Environment Canada does not expect a snowfall warning to be issued.
The snow is expected to taper off late this morning or this afternoon.
