News All Loyalist College paramedics pass mandatory provincial exam SHARE ON: Andreas Pandikiu, contributor, Friday, Dec. 15th, 2017 All of Loyalist College’s 2017 paramedic graduates passed their Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant exams. The college says the exam is offered by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, and is required in order to become a paramedic. Loyalist students also scored above the provincial average. Dean of Health, Human & Justice Studies June MacDonald-Jenkins says the school is very proud of its Bancroft campus paramedic students. She says students blend compassion, critical thinking, and decision making skills to save lives.
