November is Alzheimer’s Awareness month, and your local Alzheimer Society wants you to show your beads as part of the local Alzheimer awareness campaign. The Alzheimer Society in North Hastings, Real Estate, retail and volunteer partners plan to sell a special bead as a fundraiser and an awareness raiser. The bead is white with Forget Me Not flowers on it, the flower used to symbolize Alzheimer’s disease. You are asked take a picture of how you’re wearing your bead and forward the picture, with the hash tag, #showusyourbead, to the Alzheimer’s Society.
