Bancroft Remembrance Day Service a Huge Success

Beautiful weather and a large turn-out made for a successful Remembrance Day Service in Bancroft. More than 400 people attended to watch the parade and services at the cenotaph. Twenty wreaths were laid in remembrance, by a number of digitaries, politicians, local service clubs, and this year’s Silver Cross Mother, Mrs. LeDuc, The service ended abrubtly, when a flag bearer collapsed near the end of the service. He was taken to hospital as a precaution, but is reported to be fine.
