A 37 year-old of Ameliasburgh Township man is dead as a result of a hunting accident. The victim, David Hass, had been hunting in the area of Elwoods Road in Palmer Rapids. Killaloe OPP and The Renfrew County Crime Unit responded on Saturday afternoon around 3:00 p.m. The investigation is continuing, with the help of the Ministry of Natural Resources and is continuing at this time.
