Freezing rain is possible in the area starting late this afternoon through to the evening.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, calling for fairly light and patchy freezing rain. The weather agency says this could cause untreated surfaces to get slippery.
As the temperature rises above the freezing mark this evening, the freezing rain is expected to end.
