If your child is interested in exploring French as a second language, they can do that in Bancroft.

An information session about the extended French program at York River Public School is coming up.

The program is offered to students between grades five and eight, and teaches two courses in French. Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board says French will be taught for at least a quarter of the time students spend at school. By the end of grade eight, this adds up to a total of over 1,200 hours learning French.

The information session about the program will be held at York River Public School at 6:00pm on Monday, January 29th. The deadline to register for the program is February 23rd.
