Charges have been laid in a theft case from last August. On August 15th Jungle Imports on Hastings Street North in Bancroft had a window smashed and some property stolen. Investigation by Bancroft OPP has resulted in a 17 year-old Madoc Township youth being charged. He is accused of break and enter, mischief under $5000 and theft under $5000. The suspect has a Bancroft youth court date in December.
