Bancroft OPP is asking for your help after two break-ins in North Hastings.
Police say the first took place at a business on Bridge Street West in Bancroft sometime between 7:30pm and 8:00pm on January 19th. The business’ front door was smashed, and money, keys, and syringes were stolen.
Police say a separate break-in happened at a temporary vinyl garage on Bowen Road in Hastings Highlands. It happened sometime between October 19th and January 17th. In this case, suspects stole:
– A 2007 Mercury Optimax 115 HP outboard motor, which is black and red with white accents.
– Spare boat parts and props.
– A boat safety kit.
– Two pedestal seats with TRITON written on them.
– Cushions with TRITON on them.
– A Quantum smoke rod and reel.
– A Honda 3000 SI generator.
– Summer tires and aluminum rims.
– An orange Husqvarna Chainsaw.
– A Green 5 HP Mastercraft push lawn mower.
Anyone with information on either of these thefts is being asked to call Bancroft OPP or Crime Stoppers.
