Local students can start applying for scholarships to help them pay for their college or university tuition.
That’s the message from the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board. The board says there are a number of different scholarships available, which recognize everything from student achievement to demonstrations of character and involvement in the community.
The deadlines to apply vary, but some are closing soon. The board is encouraging students to get in touch with a guidance counselor to find out more.
