The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is urging you to be cautious near fast-moving rivers and streams.
The MNRF has issued a flood outlook statement for the Bancroft District, which is an early notice that flooding is possible because of the current forecast.
Melting snow and significant rain could cause levels and flows in local waterways to rise.
The MNRF also says that those whose homes could be flooded should make sure their sump pumps work, and secure items that could float away if water levels rise.
