Organizers are busy preparing for the 60th annual North Hastings Music Festival.
The festival is held each year in Bancroft, and features daily performances by local students, residents, and adjudicators. Member at Large Jacqueline McLean says there will be a new element to this year’s festival, as students will be able to add new technology to their performances.
Local Violinist Julie Fitzgerald will also be performing this year.
You are being called on to help keep the non-profit festival alive. McLean says organizers are asking for the community to donate to it.
Organizers are also calling on anyone with old pictures or memorabilia from the festival to send it to them. You can do that by emailing [email protected].
