North Hastings residents can help make sure local students have the perfect outfits for any formal event.
Organizers of the 9th annual ‘Prom Project’ at North Hastings High School are calling on you to donate any formal wear you might have but don’t use anymore. Organizer Kelly Waterbury says the outfits will then be given to local students for free.
Businesses donate dress shirts, ties, make-up, and clutches to the project every year. However, Waterbury says North Hastings residents can help make sure there are enough suits, dresses, jewelry, and shoes.
Donations can be dropped off at North Hastings High School. Students will be given the chance to pick out an outfit during the ‘Prom Project’ event, which takes place in the high school’s gym from 3:00pm to 5:30pm on April 4th.
