Three local festivals are getting a funding boost from the province.
The province has announced it will be investing over $3,000 into Bancroft’s Wheels, Water & Wings festival, more than $4,000 into the Wilberforce Agricultural Fair, and $6,000 into the Bancroft Rockhound Gemboree.
This is part of an over $20-million investment into over 300 festivals and events that celebrate Ontario’s diversity, heritage, and culture. The province says the goal is to grow tourism, create jobs, and offer people more reasons to discover and explore Ontario.
