The Old Hastings Snow Riders could start reopening some main snowmobile trails within the next 24 hours.
That’s according to Director David Grant, who says because of the recent snow, the club will be able to get groomers out to start packing trails. But, Grant also reminds riders to stay safe if they do head out.
However, the Paudash Trail Blazers hasn’t been so lucky. Areas west of Bancroft haven’t received as much snow, so the club isn’t ready to reopen trails because of washouts and rocky terrains. Operations Manager Rob Knapton says riders should stay off the club’s trails.
