An Ottawa man accused of stealing a vehicle and trying to evade police was arrested in Bancroft.
It happened on Sunday evening. Bancroft OPP says the man stole a vehicle in Ottawa, and would not stop for officers along Highway 62. Eventually, it rolled over outside the Dungannon Recreation Centre, but the driver got out and ran.
The 23-year-old was eventually caught, and brought to hospital. He now faces charges of possession of property obtained by crime, dangerous driving, flight from police, and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
