Bancroft OPP have release results from its Easter Long Weekend Seatbelt Campaign.
The campaign saw officers cracking down on drivers who weren’t wearing seatbelts during the four-day period.
As a result, drivers are now facing charges related to seatbelt use. Bancroft OPP also reminds residents that while seatbelt use was the main traffic focus of the weekend, they were also looking for other offences.
In total, 61 speeding charges and six hazardous moving violations were also given out over the weekend by police.
