Trillium Party announces candidate for local riding

A candidate has been named to represent the Trillium Party of Ontario in the Hastings-Lennox and Addington riding.

Lonnie Herrington will represent the party during June’s provincial election. Herrington says he plans on bringing honesty, integrity, and democracy to the table.

Herrington says one of his big concerns is that current elected officials do not represent voters.

Herrington lives in Thurlow, but says he has family scattered across the riding. He owns a construction company. The party says it will set up events to give constituents a chance to meet Herrington.

He will run against PC candidate Daryl Kramp, NDP candidate Nate Smelle, and Liberal candidate Tim Rigby during the provincial election on June 7th.
