The RIDE program does more than take impaired drivers off the road. Two men have learned that lesson. Over the past weekend, Haliburton OPP ran a RIDE program in Minden Hills Township. They stopped and charged a 52 year-old Eldon Township man was charged with not wearing his seatbelt and driving while disqualified on Saturday, and then on Sunday they arrested and charged a 50 year-old Peterborough County man for driving while suspended, driving while disqualified, failing to comply with a probation order, and failing to comply with a recognizance.
