Peterborough County OPP continue to investigate a collision that knocked power out in the south portion of Peterborough County. On Friday evening a snowmobile collided with a van near a snowmobile crossing. After the initial collision the van then hit a hydro pole, knocking out power in a large area. The 19 year-old man driving the snowmobile was taken to a Toronto hospital for treatment of serious injuries. His 19 year-old passenger was treated at Peterborough hospital. There is no report on the condition of those in the van. Power was restored by midnight.
