Police warning residents of deer activity near roads

If you’re driving, you should always be keeping an eye out for wildlife.

That’s the message from Killaloe OPP Constable Catherine Yarmel, who says wildlife is more active depending on the time of day.

Yarmel says that you shouldn’t assume a deer is alone either.

In the last two weeks, there were 18 collisions between wildlife and motorists in the area according to Killaloe OPP, most of them involving deer.
