A call to the Madoc OPP early Sunday morning has resulted in an impaired driver being taken off the road. Another driver called the OPP when he spotted a pickup truck that was stopped in the northbound lane of Highway 62 near Cleveland Road in Tudor and Cashel Township. Police found the truck and charged its driver. An 18 year-old Tweed man is facing charges of impaired and charged him with care or control while impaired and care or control with a blood-alcohol level over 80. He had his truck impounded and his licence suspended, both for seven days
