May two-four long weekend is set to be a busy one, and businesses in Bancroft have been preparing for it.
That’s according to Greg Webb, General Manager of the Bancroft and District Chamber of Commerce. Webb says lots of local businesses have been making adjustments for a busier weekend.
During the summer months, Webb says the population in Bancroft goes from just under 4000 people up to near 60,000 including surrounding lakes.
He says the atmosphere in Bancroft changes as well heading in to the May long weekend.
Webb says retail businesses in and around Bancroft will likely see two to three times more customers between May two-four and the end of October.
