A Round of Golf Can Make All The Difference

It’s not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon and help some NHHS students at the same time.

The Northern Environment Research and Development Studies class, or NERDS for short, is hoping to raise over $3,600 this Saturday in a golf tournament at the Bancroft Golf Course.

Teacher James Burbidge says it’s well worth it as most of the students go on to post secondary education and careers as biologists, field technicians or Conservation Officers….

Even though the class is partially funded, students still reach into their own pockets to pay for the course which includes special skills and certificates.
