A 22 year-old Ajax man is walking for a while after being busted for stunt driving. Early Saturday morning, Peterborough County OPP clocked a southbound vehicle, on Highway 115, at 143km/h. When police tried to catch up to the car, it accelerated to 182km/h, for more than 9 kilometres, before police could stop the fleeing car. The accused is charged with stunt driving. His licence is automatically suspended for seven days and his car, a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon was impounded. The accused is to appear in court in March.
