Charges have been laid and an arrest warrant has been sought in a case of fraud at the Stanhope Airport. Haliburton OPP began investigating the suspect back in the summer of 2013. It is alleged that 46 year-old Duane Hicks of Alberta, was renting out hangars at the Stanhope Airport to individuals, but kept all the rent monies. The charges have not been proven in court.
