Deadline extended for Bancroft Youth Hunter Mentorship Program

The Bancroft Youth Hunter Mentorship Program deadline to apply has been extended.

The deadline to apply is now Sunday.

The idea behind the program is for youth 12 to 17 to participate in a local program that will allow for training and mentoring with Conservation Officers from the MNRF. It will include required certifications as well, according to the information on the program.

The program is being offered through a partnership between the Bancroft District Fish & Game Protective Association, Carl Ziebarth, Alan Woodcox, the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters – Zone E, and the MNRF – Bancroft Enforcement Unit.

Information packages and application forms are available at the school office if you want to learn more.
