Residents in Highlands East will have a chance to dispose of any hazardous waste tomorrow.
That’s because the Town is hosting a hazardous waste day tomorrow, which allows residents to drop off waste that they wouldn’t usually be able to during regular garbage collection.
Items that can be dropped off include batteries, oil, antifreeze, paint, and propane tanks. Fireworks, radioactive waste and ammunition will not be accepted during the waste day.
Only Highlands East residents will be allowed to drop items off, and can do so at Tory Hill Landfill Site Saturday between 10:00am and 2:00pm.
