A 43 year-old Bancroft man is facing charges after police were called on a report of assault. On Wednesday, Bancroft OPP went to a home on Belton Road in Carlow-Mayo Township where they discovered that a man entered the house and assaulted and threatened a second man. The accused was arrested and charged with assault and uttering threats and has a court date in Bancroft later in March.
