Heat Warning Continues for Bancroft

Bancroft area continues to be under an extreme heat event that will carry on through Thursday.

Environment Canada says, thanks to last night’s cool weather, daytime highs will be in the low thirties today and continue as such through to Thursday. Humidex will be in the mid to high thirties today and near low forties Wednesday and Thursday.

Overnight temperatures are expected to be in the high teens to low twenties, providing a little or even no relief from the heat.
