Community Development Council Opens Their Cupboard to Help Save You Money

No one is going to debate how expensive it is to buy groceries.

That’s why the Community Development Council of Quinte has decided to open up their cupboard to help save you money. The Good Food Box program was started to help offer fresh fruits and veggies at fraction of the cost you’d see at the local grocery store.

When ordering you have three options: a $5 “Fruit Bag,” a $10 Small Good Food Box and a $15 Large Good Food Box. The contents of each box change each month depending on what’s in season.

On Monday, July 9th, they’ll be at 2 Madawaska Street from 4 PM – 6 PM. You’ll be able to order your food box on the 9th and it will be in your hands by the 18th.
