A suspicious car reported by a citizen in Cobden has led to drug charges being laid. Renfrew OPP located the suspect car on Highway 17 heading east and had to pursue it for several kilometres, before it stopped. Officers found some drugs inside the vehicle and immediately arrested the three occupants. Two men were held, but a woman was released without charge. One 48 year-old man from Toronto is charged with possession of methamphetamine and flight from police. The other suspect is a 36 year-old Toronto man who is also charged with possession of methamphetamine.
