A 49-year old, Picton woman has been charged in an assault on a student at an elementary school in Prince Edward County. Police learned that a student had been assaulted by a school employee on January 14th. The student was slightly injured. The accused is charged with assault and is to appear in a Picton Court in early February. No further details are being released to protect the identity of the victim
