The Eastern Ontario Wardens’ Caucus (EOWC) held its annual inaugural meeting in Kingston, and has elected Warden Eric Duncan as its Chair and County Warden J. Murray Jones, from Peterborough, was elected as Vice-Chair. In addition to the elections, the council set three key priorities for the coming year: The implementation of the Eastern Ontario Economic Development Strategy, over the next three years; preparing and submitting a cellular infrastructure network improvement project for Eastern Ontario, and continuing to research and advocate for financial sustainability of municipal governments in Eastern Ontario.
