Bancroft OPP say two people are dead after a single motor vehicle collision involving a Utility Terrain Vehicle yesterday morning.
OPP say that around 5:30 AM on Saturday two people died in a UTV crash on Gilbert Bay Lane in Wollaston Township. Bancroft OPP were joined at the scene by North Hastings Emergency Medical Services and Wollaston Fire Services. They found the driver and passenger without vital signs.
37 year old Jennifer Barnai of Hamilton, Ontario and 34 year old Carissa Drehmer of Haldimand, Ontario were identified as the deceased.
An OPP Technical Collision Investigator attended the scene to determine the cause of the crash. An autopsy will be completed today. The results of both have yet to be released.
