If you want to enjoy Algonquin Park this Friday, it won’t cost you a nickel.
That’s because Ontario Parks is offering free day-use in the park for all visitors to help promote the Healthy Parks, Healthy People movement, which encourages residents to spend more time in nature.
Ontario Parks also says that there will be a number of special activities throughout the park on Friday for the free day-use.
Visitors to the park won’t have to pay day-use fees, however facilities not normally included with the fees may still cost money.
