M.P. Mike Bossio Happy with Prime Minister’s Cabinet Shuffling

After Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shuffled his cabinet today, M.P. Mike Bossio says he made the right decisions.

There were many big moves and additions. The one the M.P. for Hastings-Lennox and Addington was most happy about was Dominic LeBlanc’s move from Fisheries and Oceans to Intergovernmental Affairs, Northern Affairs and Internal Trade.

Bossio said that the picks had to have been made with the uncertainty South of the boarder top of mind. He says that getting the most out of what we have is crucial.

Bossio was also happy to see Filomena Tassi, a Hamilton M.P., be named Minister of Seniors. It’s a new Federal cabinet post created by Trudeau. Bossio says that making sure Seniors are being taken care of too is important.

Bossio went on to say he’s really pleased with the moves that were made. The cabinet was strong before, he says, but with this added experience Trudeau is set up to succeed.
