An escape and evasion exercise will be taking place in-town this week.
It starts tonight at the Bancroft Airport. The exercises run every night starting tonight and finishing on Wednesday.
The Ontario Provincial Police Emergency Response Team, Tactics and Rescue Unit, Canine Unit and Aviation will be there as well to assist the Canadian Forces Dwyer Hill Training Centre with the exercise and will also be patrolling the area.
Bancroft OPP want to get the message out so everyone is aware about the added police and military presence.
