It’s been 24 years since Pat Moran died but memories of his wit; his charm and his athletic ability live on through those who knew him. Pat died at 36 from lung cancer. After his death in 1991, Pat’s friends started the Pat Moran Memorial Trust Scholarship Fund, which has since helped 71 young people. The fund has distributed over $40,000. The committee decided to move away from scholarships and to make a donation in the community. Hospice North Hastings was selected. A donation of $45,000 was made to Hospice North Hastings to remember and celebrate the life of Pat Moran.
