This election campaign will be one focused on deciding who can better improve quality of life for the people of Bancroft.
Mayor Paul Jenkins says that will be his primary goal. Jenkins took over as Mayor when Bernice Jenkins stepped down. He says that after a successful first year as Mayor, he hopes to be re-elected so he can keep the momentum going.
Jenkins knows that Water & Wastewater will be an important issue during the campaign. He says, though, that he wants to make sure he works on improving quality of life in Bancroft.
Jenkins says that he wants to make it more affordable to live in Bancroft as well as present new opportunities and expand on the services that are provided in town. He added that all of that needs to be done in a way that’s efficient and cost-effective.
When asked if he had anything else he wanted to add Jenkins enthusiastically said, “no, but there will be lots more as we continue on.”
