Charges were laid against a 30 year-old Madoc man after police investigated a complaint about an unwanted person on private property. Central Hastings OPP went to a home on St. Lawrence Street West in Madoc Thursday afternoon, and after their investigation, charged the suspect with criminal harassment and mischief under $5000. A bail hearing was set for Monday at a Belleville court.
