Christine Walker, the Vice President of Home Again, says they hope this becomes an annual event. Walker says that it’s a great opportunity for the community to get together and celebrate our pets. //www.mybancroftnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Chrstine-Walker-what-the-event-is-about.mp3 Walker says that she hopes to also raise awareness about Home Again. Walker says they work to rescue cats and dogs and find new homes. That’s one of main parts of Petfest. Walker believes that one day getting your pets microchipped will become mandatory because of how important it is. Petfest 2018 runs from 9 AM to 5 PM at Millennium Park this Saturday.
