The work on the new LCBO beside the Canadian Tire is causing major delays.
Crews are working to pave the road today, which has backed up traffic all the way down Hastings Street North. There are Police Officers directing traffic, but with the high volume of cars traffic is moving very slowly.
Public Works Manager Perry Kelly says today is the only day this week that crews will be out working. They will get back to work Monday, Kelly says.
Kelly says a report will be sent out on Friday with the plans for what work will be done on Monday.
