A fifth robbery suspect has been arrested after an extended investigation by Bancroft OPP.
Around 9 PM on December 16, 2016, two males entered the Canadian Tire on Hastings Street North with their faces disguised. They demanded money and then fled from the store on foot to a waiting getaway car. An undisclosed amount of money was stolen.
Five males have been charged with four of them being arrested and appearing in court.
Bancroft OPP have now charged the fifth male involved with the robbery. 21 year old Akeem Marcko Richards of Ajax, Ontario has been charged with:
- Robbery with theft
- Disguise with intent
- Forcible confinement
The accused has a bail hearing later this month.
