Some Algonquin Park Closures Continuing Until Mid-August

Some areas of Algonquin Park will remained closed until at least August 15^th.

That’s according to Algonquin Park, which closed Bissett Creek Road, Bissett Road Ranger Cabin and Lost Coin Ranger Cabin in July because of nearby wildfires.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says there are three fires still in the area, but all remain under control. However, while the fires are under control, Algonquin Park says that the three locations will remain closed until at least August 15^th.
