After a lengthy investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police Professional Standards Bureau, which began last September, a 13 year veteran of the force has been arrested and charged with two counts of criminal harassment and being unlawfully in a dwelling. The 37 year-old Constable is currently on leave and is to appear in court in Renfrew in March. The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
