Bancroft OPP is investigating a fatal snowmobile crash. Officers responded to a collision on North Bay Beach Road in Highlands East on Friday, and determined that the collision had occurred on Paudash Lake. A 51 year-old Peterborough man was taken to hospital by ambulance. He was pronounced dead after leaving the scene. The name of the deceased is not being released at this time as investigation into the incident is ongoing.
