For the Love of Hockey … that’s the theme of this year’s annual street hockey game. It falls on Valentine’s Day and organizers have added a lot of family fun activities to the big game; St Paul’s United Church will serve hotdogs and juice immediately after the game and then there are games, contests and the screening of the classic short film “The Sweater” at the Village Playhouse. The Street Hockey Game gets underway at 10:00 a.m. and there will be a chance of winning 2 free tickets to an Ottawa Senators – Calgary Flames game in Ottawa, courtesy of McDougall Insurance, and Date night at the playhouse featuring the movie “Goon” tickets $10.
